I’m trying to buy a Jeep 08′ Wrangler from a California dealership. I reside in IL.. He said he can NOT sell the vehicle in question to me at their advertised price becasue I do NOT reside in Ca..Is this legal?

I am considering buying a Jeep Wrangler Limited, which has a MSRP of $25,000. When will be the best time to purchase for a lower price? Also, with these automotive companies hurting financially are they more likely to make better deals? Also, I realize we are in a Recession, but we do not seem to feel the effects in Louisiana. Are these vehicles perhaps cheaper in another state?
